Exactly one year ago today, shortly before AMC’s passing, his EP “It’s Been a While” was released – and today we’ve also rediscovered a hidden gem: the interview from 2022 where he announced the release of his album Crushed Ice. Give it a listen!

The interview was conducted live on Jam On Artcore Radio, with RapNose asking the questions. The vibe is relaxed, fresh, and smooth. The conversation highlights several key aspects of AMC’s work and character: Answer questions with one word? “I have to elaborate, that’s my nature, I just can’t help it!” Funny or serious? “Both funny and serious!” Why didn’t you tease the EP with singles and on social media? “There was no masterplan, no game plan - I just put it out there.” This carefree, easygoing style is also reflected in AMC not knowing when his release party was starting tomorrow - and the fact that he recorded all tracks as onetakes, in one continuous flow without breaks.
