Its been a while

Released in May 2024, less than two weeks before AMC’s passing, It’s Been a While still carries the weight and urgency of a strong comeback. In the title track, he reflects on truth, peace, and personal growth, while reckoning with his past. In “Celebrate”, he speaks openly about the hardness of life’s ups and downs – but never loses faith: „Glaub an Prozess, wird scho sie wie es sött – en Grossteil vom Lied steckt nur i oisne Chöpf.“ The EP ends boldly with “Bluethund”: “Power as an AMG, name again AMC.” This final project feels like both a return and a parting gift – a reminder of why he is remembered as “the great thinker.”
